New role for an experienced Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a leading, fast-paced food manufacturer based in Huddersfield – this role is working on a Monday to Friday Shift pattern. Would suit someone with strong mechanical skills with experience of working on Multivacs amongst other machinery. 

The successful Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for:

• Working across the factory attending machinery breakdowns and diagnosing faults as well as ensuring all planned and routine maintenance activities are carried out and documented on the CMMS.
• Working with production responding to machinery breakdowns ensuring production downtime is kept to a minimum.
• Carrying out CI initiatives ensuring you are always looking for and recommending additional continuous improvements that could be made.
• You will also be responsible for machinery installations/ moves and modifications.
• Electrically biased ideally, however, if you are 60/40 mechanically biased you will definitely be considered.

In return, the successful Maintenance Engineer will be part of a business that is developing and expanding its site and has plans to grow as a business across the UK in the next 12 months. They have a really good team environment, where they work well together. 

You will be time served with a qualification in engineering and (ideally) have your 17/18th edition. You will like to work at speed and be able to think on your feet and be a creative and diligent engineer.
