Castle Engineering is looking for an electrician to carry out electrical installation and maintenance works for their client based in Leeds. Specialising in packaging, this is a fast paced environment working on a Panama Shift Pattern.
Key Responsibilities:

- Carry out planned maintenance on plant & equipment to a high standard
- Respond to breakdowns on Production machines
- Install and relocate production equipment
- Specify & order spare parts
- Complete maintenance records
- Complete all paperwork required to place orders and book in parts
- Read Electrical & Mechanical Drawings
- Carry out Electrical Fault Finding
- Carry out basic Mechanical Fault finding
- Carry out basic Pneumatic/hydraulic Fault Finding
- Record work carried out on a daily Time Sheet
- Liaise with Contractors
- Liaise with suppliers
- Liaise with Engineering Companies
- Liaise with other departments
- Health & Safety. Responsible for self and others
- Assist with Stock Takes
- Ensure a good working relationship with all Departments
- Work overtime when required
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in industrial commercial electrical installation
- Recognised Electrical qualification (e.g. NVQ/City & Guilds/BTEC HNC)
- PC Literate
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Responsible with good work ethics
- Flexible and adaptable approach
- Quick decision making and problem solving abilities
