The client is a Food Manufacturing business based in Barnsley who is looking for an experienced Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias. You will be joining a close knit team who work really well together.
The successful Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for:
- Working across the factory attending machinery breakdowns and diagnosing faults as well as ensuring all planned and routine maintenance activities are carried out and documented on the CMMS.
- Working with production responding to machinery breakdowns ensuring production downtime is kept to a minimum.
- Carrying out CI initiatives ensuring you are always looking for and recommending additional continuous improvements that could be made.
- You will also be responsible for machinery installations/ moves and modifications.
- Provide a detailed handover to the next shift ensuring all relevant information is passed on and understood

You will be an experienced engineer with an electrical qualification and come from an FMCG/Food or similar background. The shift pattern is 3 on / 3 off ddd/nnn. You will like to work at speed and be able to think on your feet and be a creative and diligent engineer.
