Principal / Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Principal / Senior Geotechnical Engineer (BBBH3459) Auckland, New Zealand


About:

  • A privately owned consultancy providing specialised geotechnical services
  • A collective of like minded Engineers and Geologists who together deliver outstanding geotechnical solutions
  • Provide services to the mining, construction and civil engineering industries
  • First established in 2012 they have continued to grow year on year and service a global client base
  • Four directors who are always looking to grow their company and currently work out of 6 offices

Responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing proposals and reviewing contract documentation
  • Develop relationships with clients and sub-consultants
  • Planning and managing resources and budget for site investigation, ground modelling, and/or geotechnical design projects of all sizes
  • Provide value-added advice and service to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Develop, provide and promote geotechnical solutions, options and initiatives to meet client needs

Ideal candidate:

  • Relevant Washington accord qualification in Civil Engineering
  • Able to work closely with and mentor a team by delivering and providing advice and technical support
  • 10+ years of experience
  • Self-motivated with a focus on results
  • Experience in the review of proposals and reports in the fields of geotechnical investigation, ground modelling, and geotechnical solutions
