This consultancy are specialists in the field of earthquake strengthening and seismic assessments and operate nationally. They are in need of an Intermediate and a Senior Structural Engineer due to growth and an increasing number of projects.
They work on:
- Initial and Detailed Seismic Assessment (IEP/ISA/DSA)
- Earthquake-Prone Buildings (EPBs)
- Structural condition assessment
- Heritage building assessment and retrofit
- Cost benefit analysis
Role information:
- Work on Commercial, Industrial, and Residential design
- Extension, conversion and refurbishment
- Design reviews
- Structural condition surveying and reporting
- Liaise with clients and architects
Experience required:
- A minimum of 3 years of NZ experience
- Bachelor of Engineering
- Experienced with structural assessment and seismic of existing buildings
- Excellent English written and communication skills
- Be able to hit the ground running and work autonomously in a satellite office environment with regular reporting to head office
