Our client is currently looking for a senior Engineering Manager who is experienced in providing support to vessels and marine systems. You will be accountable for the entire engineering output for the project. This would suit someone looking for a challenging role in the Defence and Marine industry.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Overall technical management of the project
- Prepare engineering and management plans to meet the requirements of the project
- Providing technical leadership and management of Engineering including Systems Engineering, Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Logistics and Integrated Support and Configuration Management
- Managing the relationships with key stakeholders including internal and external customers and sub contractors
- Leading the Reliability Centred Maintenance program
- Improve overall performance and drive down through-life support costs by design input to obsolescence management
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering or Marine Engineering
- Level 2 engineering delegation
- At least 5 years of leadership experience in a large technical team
- In depth knowledge of Marine and Maintenance systems
- Experience in maintaining vessels to Classification Society Rules
