Elevation Sales & Marketing are currently recruiting a Head of Sales & Marketing.
Our client is looking for a leader of people to help drive this large sales and marketing function forward with innovative ideas and clear objectives. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercial senior marketing candidate or sales professional with marketing skills to take responsibility for:-
• Part of the senior team you will lead a Sales & Marketing function of over 30 people. Provide direction, leadership, PDPs and objectives for the function – ensuring a joined up approach across the teams with a clear ‘go to market’ strategy.
• You will work cross functionally with other internal departments to ensure a cohesive business plan and objectives are being driven across the business.
• You will be responsible for acquisition and retention objectives, showing a clear ROI and reporting on the sales & marketing function’s success to the board.
• You will be responsible for providing strategic marketing guidance to a large team across digital, eCommerce, direct marketing, communications, design and production.
• You will lead both an internal sales support function and external field sales team, to look at competitor activities, NPD, customer insight – with a view to growing new markets, winning new business and driving commercial activities forward.
• You will drive sales forward, taking full P&L responsibility for the function, bids & tender co-ordination and clear objectives for the new business teams.
Elevation Sales & Marketing would be keen to speak with candidates with the following skills and experiences:
• Educated to degree level or equivalent
• Proven man-management experience (of large teams) is an essential requirement
• Sales & Marketing experience in a commercial environment
• Ability to communicate effectively, providing guidance to your team, whilst gaining the respect of senior stakeholders and reporting sales and marketing activities to the board.
• Multi-channel experience
• P&L budget responsibility is required.
