Insurance Business – Team Leader

Salary: £33,594 + Great Benefit package

Location: Lancing

Hours: Mon-Fri 9am-17.30pm

(Free parking on site)

You will already have a good knowledge of the insurance industry and have managed a team within a customer service/sales capacity within a regulated environment.

Responsibilities:

• Day to day management of the New Business Account Handling team
• Motivating the team to exceed revenue targets and defined KPI’s through dedicated coaching and training
• Responsible for the delivery of the budget and company business volumes
• Forecast accurately and regularly ensuring the sales sustainable pipeline
• Manage team development and training
• Identify new business opportunities and manage the end to end sales pipeline
• Proactively review all the insurance procedures and suggest continual improvements
• Be the point of escalation referral for the team

The right candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• Proven experience within insurance, ideally commercial insurance
• Knowledge and experience of FCA compliance and TCF practices
• Ideally CII qualified
• Excellent communication skills with great people management ability
• Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
