Health & Safety Manager (SJ/211) East Riding of Yorkshire, England
Castle are currently recruiting for an experienced and professional Health & Safety Manager working for an expanding, developing business in East Yorkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a growing business that can offer scope for development, progression and genuine opportunities to grow with the business.
As the Health & Safety Manager you will develop, monitor and review Health & Safety policies and procedures and risk assessments as well as controlling PPE and H&S budgets. You will handle safety inspections and audits of the plant and its equipment.
You will work closely with the H&S representative to ensure best group practices and raise any potential H&S issues with senior Management. As the successful H&S Manager you will develop safe systems of work in the factory, adhere to and promote best practice at all time and deliver a 10% reduction in accidents year on year.
You will ensure hygiene and housekeeping is kept to a good standard and ensure all paperwork and systems are completed and accurate.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role ideally with a food manufacturing background. In return the company is offering fantastic opportunities for development and growth as well as a competitive salary.
