Technical Manager (SJ/0211) East Riding of Yorkshire, England
Castle are currently recruiting on behalf of an expanding, developing business based in East Yorkshire. This is an exciting time to join a brand new food factory! You will be responsible for managing, motivating and auditing a team of QA operatives as well as effectively training and coaching QA staff according to the needs determined by the business.
You will manage and develop hygiene standards and procedures as well as managing and approving existing and new suppliers. As the Technical Manager you will review, audit and challenge factory operations, product quality and systems to ensure the teams maintain the highest standards.
As the Technical Manager you will develop and monitor HACCP, TACCP and quality systems as well as investigating and responding to customer complaints.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a Quality or Technical Management role with a food manufacturing background (ideally fresh produce). Strong communication skills, HACCP & BRC experience and audit experience are all essential.
