Accountant (Part qualified ACCA)

Location: Hove

Salary: £16,000 - £20,000

Hours: Mon-Fri 9am-5.30pm

I have the great pleasure in supporting our highly reputable client in the recruitment of a Trainee Accountant role based in their office in Hove.

Responsibilities:

  • File preparation for personal tax returns
  • Closely working with the portfolio manager to achieve deadlines
  • Handling sole trader, limited company and partnerships accounts
  • Supporting with office administration, reception and phone cover
  • When requested represent the firm at events

The right candidate will have the following skills and qualifications;

  • Educated to graduate level with a keen passion to take further study to progress to an Accountants role
  • Strong work ethic
  • Be able to communicate in both a professional and personable manner
  • Have good IT skills
  • Be a motivated team player
