Castle Employment are working with a highly reputable food manufacturer based in Hull who are recruiting a Maintenance Engineer to join their team. As the Maintenance Engineer you will work as part of a strong positive team who are responsible for all reactive and planned maintenance across the plant. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in a multi-skilled maintenance engineer role ideally within the food industry with a bias towards electrical maintenance.
The role:
You will be responsible for attending breakdowns and diagnosing faults in a timely manner.
You will be responsible for carrying out repairs to the machinery and site equipment working as part of the team to complete the repairs within tight timescales.
You will be responsible for ensuring long term fixes are identified and any remedial work planned for and carried out.
Ideally you will be able to work alongside the operators ensuring basic training and understanding of machine maintenance.
You will ensure that critical spares are readily accessible and ensure parts are ordered when low and needed.
The candidate:
Ideally you will have your 17th edition and an understanding of PLC's. You will be forward thinking and a positive team player who is looking to develop their career.
