Insurance New Business Consultant
Salary: £18k - £21k + OTE
Location: Hove
Hours: Mon-Fri 9am – 5.30pm

(This organisation will support full study to achieve CII qualification)

I am excited to assist my client in the recruitment of an Insurance New Business Consultant to join their expanding and successful organisation based in Hove.

This role is responsible for prospecting, qualifying and generating new sales leads for the corporate sales team.

Responsibilities:

• Develop new business leads via telephone and email campaigns
• Follow up on leads and qualify potential prospects
• Work alongside the New Business teams to develop and grow sales pipelines to ensure monthly targets are met
• Update the in-house CRM accurately
• Confirm renewal dates on the Database to ensure timely contact
• Manage data for new clients and prospects
• Attend team meetings with the New business and Corporate teams
• Follow TCF principles and adhere to FCA regulations
• Ad-hoc project support

The right candidate will have the following skills and experience to apply:

• Proven track record in the ability to meet sales targets
• Ideally have an insurance or financial services background
• Active and working knowledge of FCA compliance
• Great communication skills
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Ability to work well under pressure
