Customer Service Analyst

Customer Service Analyst (VC3423) Pickering, England

The Position:

Castle Employment are looking for a Customer Service Analyst for a leading manufacturing business based in the Scarborough area. The Planning & Customer Service Analyst will build relationships with customers and suppliers, and ensure that their requirements are communicated across the business. They will analyse customer demand, forecast orders and plan with production.

The key duties and responsibilities for the position are:

  • Responsible for receipt & acknowledgement of customer requirements
  • Communicating customer requirements to the business 
  • Monitor manufacturing, stocks and system data and escalate/expedite any concerns, queries or issues as appropriate.
  • Liaison with Customer and internal departments to advise on the supply status of products and any other logistic queries.
  • Producing professional reports and data on customer orders & providing management information as reasonably required.
  • Liaising with Production Planning with regards any customer demand changes

Requirements:

The client is looking for the following skills/experience:

  • Previous background within Customer service, preferably within manufacturing
  • Ability to communicate across all levels and formats
  • Proficiency on Microsoft Office, with any experience of using manufacturing systems being highly advantageous
  • High level of numeracy and analytical ability

  • The role is based in Scarborough, so is easily commutable from Driffield, Bridlington, Beverley, Malton and York.
