The Position

Castle Employment are looking for a Business Analyst for a prestigious manufacturing business in the Scarborough area. This is a key role within the business, and acts as a link between the IT and the business elements of the company. The Business Analyst will work and engage with all functions within the business.

The role of Business Analyst will involve:

• Overseeing work packages, which will command an understanding of IT implementation methodologies and practices 
• Developing and maintaining relationships with a primary focus on Internal IT, with an additional focus on business customers at all levels
• Providing support and analysis where needed.
• Responsible for the analysis and testing during the IT system enhancement process.
• Manage the application support/incident management process of IT system issues.
• Share acquired skills and system knowledge with other members of the team.
• Perform tasks at all levels throughout every stage of implementation projects

Requirements

The client is looking for the following skills/experience:

• Proven background of working within a similar role
• Strong inter-personal skills to be able to work effectively in a diverse team, and to be able to comfortably deal with people at all levels
• Previous use of ERP systems would be highly advantageous

• The role is located in the Scarborough area, and is easily commutable from Whitby, Malton, York, Leeds, Driffield, Beverley and Hull
• The salary for the position is £40,000-£45,000, dependent upon experience
• The position is full time, and is Monday-Friday within standard office hours
