Castle are looking for a Production Planner for an established Manufacturing business in the Driffield area. The Production Planner role will involve:

• Work closely with the IT department on systems developments and improvements associated with the manufacturing systems.
• Review future customer orders to identify any possible challenges and make recommendations and identify how they can be dealt with effectively.
• Establish and organise manpower, equipment and the raw materials needed to cover production demand.
• Devising and maintaining all production plans.
• Liaise with customers and suppliers as and when required.
• Develop a close working relationship with the Operations team to constructively plan the production schedule, in the most efficient and cost effective manner, whilst ensuring that customer demand is achieved on time and in full.
• Transition customer orders into production.
• Forecast production levels based on customer schedules
• Raising, issuing and managing of works instructions

The client is looking for the following skills/experiences:

• Previous experience of working in a similar role
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems would be a distinct advantage
• Have the ability to communicate effectively across all levels
• Competence in using Microsoft Office
• Strong organisational and problem solving skills

The Benefits:

• The salary for the position is up to £35,000 dependent on experience
• The role is based in the Driffield area so is easily commutable from Hull, Beverley, Bridlington, Hornsea, Scarborough and Malton
