Production Zone Leader
Castle Employment are looking for Production Zone Leaders for a leading manufacturing business based in the Pickering area on a Temporary to Permanent basis. Reporting into the Shift Manager, you would be responsible for supervising up to 25 operators across multiple areas within the production environment working on a rotating shift pattern with transport provided.
Requirements:
Successful Zone Leaders must be highly motivated, well organised and be capable of communicating across all levels of the business. Extensive training will be given to support this challenging and crucial role.
The role of a Production Zone Leader will involve:
- Organising & briefing the team to achieve the production plan
- Liaising with planning and support functions to drive the overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)
- Reporting on cell and zone performance.
- Auditing processes to ensure compliance to operating procedures
- Training, coaching and developing personnel across the shift
- Maintaining adherence to company policies & procedures
- Driving improvements in health and safety, 5S, processes & operational efficiency's
