Customer Service Analyst (Including Nights) (VC3423) Pickering, England

The Position:

Castle Employment are looking for a Customer Service Analyst (Including Nights) for a leading manufacturing business based in the Pickering area. The Customer Service Analyst will ensure that customer requirements are communicated across the business. They will co-ordinate all elements of production to make sure that customer requirements are met in full and on time, and then liaise with both internal and external customers to inform them on the status of their product availability. 

The key duties and responsibilities for the position are:

  • Responsible for receipt & acknowledgement of customer requirements
  • Communicating customer requirements to the business 
  • Execute the production plan and ensure attainment of “On-time, In-full” delivery.
  • Monitor manufacturing, stocks and system data and escalate/expedite any concerns, queries or issues as appropriate.
  • Liaison with Customer and internal departments to advise on the supply status of products and any other logistic queries.
  • Ensuring transport is available to ship product to customer in time, and that pick lists and any other documentation associated with shipping are raised in good time
  • Producing professional reports and data on logistics at the request of the customer & providing management information as reasonably required.
  • Raising of Pick lists for despatching of products
  • Highlighting and escalating of stock shortages both internally and to the customer
  • Liaising with Production Planning with regards any customer demand changes

Requirements:

The client is looking for the following skills/experience:

  • Previous background within Customer service, preferably within manufacturing
  • Ability to communicate across all levels and formats
  • Proficiency on Microsoft Office, with any experience of using manufacturing systems being highly advantageous
  • High level of numeracy and analytical ability
