Buyer/Materials Controller (BK2835) Driffield, England
Castle Engineering & Manufacturing are looking for a Buyer/Materials Controller for a busy manufacturing business based in the Bridlington area.
The key responsibilities for the position are:
- Ensure the on time availability of material in line with the business requirements
- Maintain an effective flow of materials both in to the business and despatch to external customers
- Identify any materials risk and take appropriate mitigating action
- Coordinate the management of the legacy slow moving, redundant and obsolete stock
- Identify the most effective delivery methods of materials into the organisation
- Inputting purchase orders onto the manufacturing system
The client is looking for the following skills/experience:
- Previous Buyer/Materials experience within a manufacturing environment
- Computer literate

- The salary for the position is between £20,000-£23,000, depending upon experience
