Facilities Manager (VC3951) Leeds, England
Castle Engineering & Manufacturing are recruiting a Health, Safety & Environmental Officer for a prestigious, well respected manufacturing business in the Leeds area. The client has modern, purpose built factory and offers excellent development opportunities. The Facilities Manager will have the following responsibilities:
- Manage the personnel and the administration of the Maintenance Dept
- Manage the tasks associated with supporting the Maintenance Team
- Compile and maintain an accurate register of on-site Company assets. Manage the planned/preventative maintenance function.
- Produce shop floor and admin layout drawings.
- Site related project costing/estimating.
- Manage all on-site contractors (with the support of the SHE Officer) prior to commencement of work on-site and throughout the contract duration.
- Provision of information for the monitoring of site energy consumption through routine meter reading.
The client is looking for the following skills/experience:
- Demonstrable background of working in a similar role
- Proficiency in using CAD packages would be highly advantageous
