Castle Engineering & Manufacturing are looking for a Compliance Manager for an established manufacturing business in the Bridlington area. The main function of the role is to ensure that the company and it's products comply with the relevant safety and manufacturing standards.

The main responsibilities for the role are:

• Ensure that relevant standards are monitored and adhered to proactively
• Undertake site based inspections of machines in build and test
• Report any inspection findings to appropriate department
• Act as a reference point for new and existing designs in both mechanical and electrical area departments
• Ensure CE certificates are up to date
• Keep the Design Team informed of relevant changes to safety standards

The client is looking for the following skills/experience:

• Background of working in a similar role, preferably within a Manufacturing/Engineering environment
• Previous experience of issuing CE certificates would be a distinct advantage

The role is based in Bridlington, so is easily commutable from Hull, Driffield, Beverley, Brandesburton, Hornsea and Scarborough. The salary for the position is flexible depending upon experience.
