The Web Analytics Manager will play an important leadership role in the development and performance management of web properties on the membership marketing team. This position will provide ongoing analysis and insights related to PlayStation.com and other web properties managed on the Digital Platforms team. This person will evaluate business opportunities and help plan significant digital marketing campaigns. The Web Analytics manager will shape the strategic direction of our Network, its business units and its impact on the broader organization, particularly through analysis of marketing programs and guidance on budget allocation based on ROI insights.

Principle Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Develop analyses that identify new business opportunities on the web
  • Monitor health of existing web businesses by tracking revenue, engagement and customer satisfaction to maximize growth and profitability
  • Conduct detailed, ad-hoc analyses and effectively integrate data driven insights into planning and web development work
  • Develop financial and user behavioral insights that help the team to optimize user experiences, revenue and profitability
  • Articulately communicate business insights and recommendations to a broad set of stakeholders
  • Conduct market and competitor analyses to benchmark our websites performance in the industry
  • Partner with key stakeholders across multiple departments to identify business needs and synthesize feedback
  • Glean insights from multiple external and internal data sources, including product sales, Omniture and other consumer behavioral data
  • Build, manage and improve upon regular and ad-hoc reports for web, CRM and PSN Marketing team



Required Knowledge / Skills:

  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Make good, timely decisions in a sometimes frenetic and dynamic business environment
  • Exceptional data skills and proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Omniture and Google Analytics



Preferred Experience / Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required, Masters Degree or equivalent highly preferred
  • At least 5 years work experience in business and web based analytics
  • Experienced in data analysis including financial and sales analysis
  • Experience in a consultative role at a large corporation or agency
