A market leading specialist producer of Maritime goods are looking to recruit an experienced Storeman/Inspector, to assist with stock control ready for dispatch. This is a genuine Temporary to Permanent role with an exciting company, moving in a very positive direction in the current climate.
The responsibilities of a Storeman/Inspector are;
- Purchase Order processing and Document Control
- Good Inward inspection, tagging and logging
- Goods Out pacing and logistics/shipping arrangements, including spares orders, main orders and subcontract goods.
- PPE and HS Equipment ordering
- Small tool monitoring and logging for usage
The ideal Storeman/Inspector will posses the following traits;
- FLT Experience, Reach+Counterbalance
- Strong Technical ability
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to help always, and develop new skills
- An eagerness to work overtime depending on manufacturing requirements
The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm Monday to Thursday, with a 7:30am-12:30pm shift on a Friday.
You will receive a basic hourly rate of £9.15 per hour on a 39 hour per week basis. Overtime is paid at x1.5 hourly rate (£13.73ph)
