Castle Employment are looking for a Mill Operator for a manufacturing business based in the Malton area, who due to continued expansion are looking to grow the team.

The key responsibilities for the Mill Operator are;

• Producing High quality Agricultural products, both in bulk and small bespoke orders
• Loading raw materials into production areas including hand balling goods up to 20kg
• Accurately recording production data
• Assisting with the loading and packing of finished products

The Requirements for a Mill Operator include;

• The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working in a similar environment with a good background understanding of agriculture.
• A basic level of IT Skills are required by Mill Operators, full training is provided on site
• An Agricultural engineering background.
• Must have a hands on approach to work
• Must have a flexible approach to work due to varied shift patterns, rotas are provided in advance
• A valid Counterbalance FLT certificate is desirable but not essential as training can be provided.

• This is a genuine permanent position for the right candidate
• The Hourly rate of pay is £8.50ph plus a weekly shift premium and very fair and achievable additional skill bonus
• Minimum 40 hour week, plus additional overtime available
