Castle Industrial and Construction are looking for skilled production operatives for our client based in the Ryedale area who due to continued expansion are looking to grow their team, this is a genuine permanent position.
Role
- You will be required to solder SMD’s and place/paste SMD’s
- Building wire and cabling assemblies, sub assemblies and mechanical assembly builds
- Final assembly of product including testing
- Working from clear and detailed instructions
- High degree of accuracy required due to the nature of the product
Ideal Candidate
- Strong soldering skills
- Good foundational knowledge of SMT devices (sizes, component markings and handling procedures)
- Ability to interpret technical information and work meticulously to SOP’s
- Previous experience of assembling electronic assemblies, panel wiring and cable harnesses
- Strong attention to detail
- Will have an understanding of lean manufacturing and adopt a 5S approach to their work
The Benefits:
- 8 – 4.00pm Monday to Friday
- £8.00 - £9.20 per hour depending on level of experience
