TSA Ltd are an established specialist recruitment agency operating across civil engineering, building and MEICA Disciplines. We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a global contractor specialising in Oil and Gas, power and energy projects both onshore and offshore.
We are currently recruiting multiple Mechanical Fitters on a long-term basis, to work on one of the most prestigious infrastructure projects in the UK, utilising innovative methods and techniques.
Please Note that ALL Lodging AND food costs will be covered by the client on top of basic rate.
Duties Include:
- Locating faults and ascertain nature of defects in machinery
- Interpret drawings and specifications
- Repair/removal of damaged or worn parts
- Use of machine and hand tools
- Testing of machinery to ensure functionality
- Servicing of site machinery to schedule (could include cleaning and greasing)
- Overhead crane/basic slinging
- Plant installation/modification according to standards
- Ensure all safety requirements are met at all times
Experience required:
- Industry recognised apprenticeship/NVQ Level 3 in relevant discipline
- Relevant experience in sectors such as Petro-Chemical, Oil & Gas or Manufacturing
- Valid safety Passports
- CPCS card
- IOSH/NEBOSH desirable but not essential
