Legal Counsel – Media firm – Central London (SBU1115052) London, England
Our client is an emerging player in the media space seeking a Commercial Lawyer on an interim basis, working alongside their Head of Legal and Compliance (Sole Counsel).
Your role will hugely broad and hands on, involving providing practical legal advice, analysis and support on matters impacting the business. You will also support developing the legal function, including maintaining and drafting precedents, contract management and the delivery of legal updates and training. As you will be the second member of staff in the legal team, this is an excellent opportunity to gain a wide range of experience coving IT, IP, Media, Advertising, Consumer, Regulatory and Data Protection.
The successful candidate should be between 2-4 year PQE ideally with some in-house experience although this is not a prerequisite. You must commercial contracts experience and some knowledge of television media would also be beneficial.
Whilst this will initially be a 3-6 month contract, there may be the scope of extension or conversion to a permanent appointment.
