Responsible for overall logistics operations analysis and evaluation of traffic information.
• Primary responsibility of this position will be to create production plans that provide a level of product availability to all channels of distribution in keeping with company objectives.
• Monitor finished goods delivery into the distribution center to ensure timely receipt. This includes partnering with the receiving department to set receiving priorities and expedite shipments with freight forwarder.
• Provide directions to the Production department in the area of product need to support distribution demand.
• Manage the information flow between Production and Distribution channels.
• Will identify logistics areas for process improvement and cost savings to ensure expectations are met
• Collaborate with associates to improve efficiency, productivity and processes.
• Responsible for preparing statistical data for contract negotiations and participating in
Lead the analysis and provide statistical information on the tracking of product shipments, returns, and inventory. Evaluate existing capabilities and establish new systems and processes for the tracking, measurement, reporting, and analysis of all traffic. Coordinating Inbound / outbound traffic; ocean, sea, air and domestic. Maximizing the cost effectiveness of this function.
