Agile Coach Summary:

Signature Consultants is seeking an Agile Coach for an opportunity in Phoenix, AZ. Our Client is looking for talented individuals to drive transformation in how solutions are delivered to our businesses as a Release Train Engineer (RTE).  The ideal candidate should be passionate about Agile, and can promote a culture and mindset shift that results in higher quality, faster time to market, and optimized cost performance. 
 
 The Agile Coach will be responsible for driving processes, ensuring risks and dependencies are visible and execution oversight for Agile Release Trains. This will include facilitating the train program/release level events such as Program Increment planning, Inspect and Adapt sessions and the Scrum of Scrums. The candidate will partner with cross-functional product teams, business owners and engineering teams to determine and interpret objectives into solutions and requirements, drive processes and execution, escalate impediments, manage risk, and promote continuous improvement.

Job Responsibilities:

• Facilitate SAFe program/release level processes and execution with management, domain and technical acumen
• Facilitate the Scrum of Scrums meeting, mentor/coach the scrum masters and ensure best practices and being followed
• Work with product, business, technical, and other stakeholders to help ensure strategy and execution alignment – including input to solution definition, integration points and requirement definition
• Facilitate Program Increment (PI) Planning Event
• Proactively manage and track team velocity, financials, and other KPIs in relation to the project/program and its plan
• Provide visibility into gaps, issues, risks and opportunities across scrum teams, solving and where needed escalating impediments
• Drive program, release level and enterprise improvement and standardization activities using SAFe as the primary framework
• Manage E2E integration test phases
• Opportunity to provide in-house informal agile coaching to our product and business teams

Qualifications:

• SAFe certification

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred
• 3 years Scrum Master experience
• 7+ years relevant Project/Program Management experience
• Experience facilitating Agile, Scrum or other rapid application development teams to deliver technology solutions on time, on budget, and to spec
• SAFe certification (RTE or SPC) and hands-on experience

Knowledge/Skills:

• Strong servant-leadership skills
• Proven ability to deliver complex software features reliably
• Strong understanding of SAFe or iterative development processes, including quality and testing practices
• Possess a high degree of technical savvy, with a keen ability to learn new technology quickly and easily
• Adaptive communication
