10655335 Infrastructure Middleware Expert Location: Bothell, WA Duration: 12 Months Start: ASAP
Note: This position will be required to participate in 24 x 7 on call support as part of a scheduled rotation with other team members.
OVERVIEW We are looking for a motivated Infrastructure Middleware Expert with strong analysis skills to independently support Middle Tier Applications running on Tibco, WebLogic, WebSphere, and Oracle Service Bus platforms.
REQUIRED Bachelors degree in Computer Science/IT related studies or equivalent experience 3-5 years in Application Support for Middleware or comparable systems WebLogic and either Tibco or Oracle Service Bus installation, configuration and administration High level understanding of hardware and application platform architecture HP/IBM/SUN Unix/Linux Strong scripting, design, and automation skills Display strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Must be self-motivated and able to meet objectives with little or no direct supervision
PREFERRED 3+ years telecommunication industry experience preferred, preferably in infrastructure and/or billing Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle Performance tuning for Middleware applications Programming Languages: SQL, UNIX Shell Scripting, HTML, PERL, PHP, .NET
RESPONSIBILITIES Work with Development, App Support, and DBA teams to resolve all outstanding issues Work closely with the various Testing, Development and DBA teams to review and coordinate new infra changes including version upgrades Manage the execution activities for all Infrastructure processes and for supporting the performance tests Monitor all activities within the Infrastructure Middle Tier modules Handle escalated issues and provide synopsis/root causes Report back to Managers about the daily batch execution and issues Responsible of developing new tools for automation and improving the daily work Provide senior level support for issue resolution and documentation Participate in 24 x 7 on call support as part of a scheduled rotation with other team members |
