THE POSITION: National Account Manager

Castle Sales, IT & Procurement are looking for an experienced  National Account Manager to join their retail division working with the Retail team managing & growing the existing customer base.  The role would suit someone with relevant experience or  a  graduate with some FMCG experience.  This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is eager to learn & is hungry for career development. The position is office & field  based with extensive travel

 

THE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Managing and growing the existing customer base comprising of major retailers

  • Identifying and opening up new business opportunities in the frozen and chilled seafood sectors

  • Visiting customers & having meetings with retailers

  • spending 2 days a week in the offices to align with the wider team strategy

 

The successful candidate will have

  • Previous experience in selling to & managing FMCG retailer relationships
  • Must have experience of working  with a key account
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail & strong numeracy skills
  • Experience of working with a major food brand would be desirable
