Agricultural Marketing Analyst (VC3851) Scarborough, England

Castle are looking for an Agricultural Marketing Analyst to join an exciting, revolutionary project based in the Scarborough area. The main function of the Agricultural Marketing Analyst role is to actively support the market research department’s efforts to drive sales agreements and customer retention.

The key responsibilities for the position are:

  • Create supportive presentation materials which summarise technical information and report upon the Company’s agronomic research programme
  • Demonstrate analytical, critical thinking and decision making skills as part of customer engagement and marketing initiatives
  • Demonstrate problem solving in developing a new product and market
  • Contribute to large-scale programmes comprised of multiple projects and work streams
  • Use agricultural knowledge to assist with the evaluation of trial data
  • Create meaningful analysis, reports, presentations and strategy documents in support of our businesses
  • External data gathering, analysis, reporting, market conditions and future forecasting
  • Update and customise marketing materials to meet the needs of customer marketing plans and pitches
  • Ensure any marketing materials produced reflect the innovative nature of the company and adhere to Company style guidelines

The client is looking for the following skills/experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics, a related field or demonstrating a well-rounded academic background
  • Demonstrable understanding of statistical analysis outputs
  • Strong computer skills, which includes proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Proficient in the use of technology for content updates and strategic planning

The salary for the position is between £25,000-£30,000, dependant upon experience
