Business Development Manager
Castle Employment are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to work for a progressive, forward thinking manufacturing business based in the York area. Reporting in to the Managing Director you will be responsible for receiving sales order, creating a pipeline of business and then converting those opportunities in to projects. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established business and progress your career.
- The role will involve receiving sales opportunities & providing detailed quotes to clients
- Receiving warm leads & discussing customer requirements
- Undertaking site visits around the UK to conduct site surveys
- Building strong relationships with the clients
- Contributing to the sales strategy of the business
- Closing sales & handling project then over to Operations
- Carrying out project work for Directors
The client is looking for the following skills/experience:
- Experience in a project oriented sales role
- Experience of bidding and winning construction tenders
- Knowledge of planning applications and building control
- Word, Excel, Client Management software skills essential
- Knowledge of the timber framed building market or similar contraction background would be an advantage
- Attention to detail with a creative approach to work
- A Self motivated Team Player who can work well under pressure

- This role is easily commutable from York, Bridlington, Scarborough, Driffield and Hull.
