Castle Employment are looking for an Operations Analyst to join an established manufacturing in North Yorkshire. This is a great opportunity to join an established business in a new & exciting role. Reporting to the Operations Director, the Operations Analyst will be responsible for supplying detailed reports to improve the operational performance of the business
Requirements:
This important role of Operations Analyst will encompass the following;
- Analysing manufacturing data whilst continuously advising management on opportunities to increase operational performance and efficiency.
- Implementing and reporting on manufacturing KPI’S such as OEE, Yields and Downtime.
- Trending performance and encouraging continuous improvement.
- Using statistical process control software to remove the variation in the manufacturing process, increasing overall productivity and efficiency.
- Regular reporting to the Financial Director, proving detailed manufacturing “cost per unit” information along with a summary of the Production Variances: Labour; Raw Materials
- Chairing the Weekly Operations Meeting
- Overseeing of the management of stock
- Developing an information system
The successful Operations Analyst will have:
- Experience of managing performance of teams
- Experience of working with & interpreting legislation
- Experience of managing large projects is desirable
- Project Management, organisations & leadership skills
- Strong Excel skills
- An understanding of manufacturing
