Castle Employment Group are recruiting for a Junior Software Developer to join our established client based on the outskirts of Scarborough. As part of the expanding development team this is a fantastic opportunity for either a passionate & innovative experienced or graduate Software Developer. You should have an eye for creativity, a strong work ethic & be able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Duties:
- Developing new software as well as enhancing new systems
- Designing new solutions/features
- Improving deign of existing code
- Identifying & developing solutions
- Actively contributing to build , enhance & support customer developed software
- Prototype ideas & demonstrate to team/management & customers
Requirements:
- You MUST have knowledge of Responsive Design & User Interface showing creativity & innovation
- Able to implement responsive web pages using pure HTML & CSS
- Good knowledge of CSS3, HTML5 & JavaScript
- Some knowledge of SQL querying
- Experience working with MS Visual Studio
- Must be a strong team player with excellent communication skills
- Experience of working with modern frameworks & some understanding of Agile would be desirable
