Production Planner (RL9744) North Yorkshire, England
Castle Employment are looking for an experienced Production Planner to work for an established business based in North Yorkshire. Reporting in to the Production Manager the role would suit someone with previous experience of working in a similar role.
The role of Production Planner will encompass the following
- Work with Raw Material Planner to align material requirements with manufacturing capabilities, capacity and suppliers
- Coordinate production effectively via daily operational reviews.
- Provide daily/weekly/monthly analysis and metrics for production attainment, on time delivery, order fill, capacity and planning, production constraints
- Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
- Creation of comprehensive production schedules
- Assist with weekly, monthly and seasonal production forecasting
The successful Production Planner will have:
- Previous experience of production planning
- Good understanding of supply chain processes
- Strong IT systems knowledge and skills including advanced Excel skills
- Strong interpersonal, negotiating and influencing skills
- Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving skills
- Previous SAP knowledge would be beneficial
