Senior Buyer (RL6919) Pickering, England
Castle Employment are looking for an experienced Senior Buyer to join an established business based in North Yorkshire. The successful individual will be responsible for the purchase of goods and services and for providing specialist knowledge to the department. This is a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Obtain quotations & expedite orders
- Manage selected suppliers
- Act in response to cost down initiatives
- Communicate effectively at any level within the business
- Deal with super's in a professional manner
- Resolve any invoice queries in a timely manner
Skills/Experience needed:
- Relevant purchasing experience within a manufacturing environment
- MRP experience preferred but not essential
- Attention to detail
- Proficient in MS Word & Excel
