THE POSITION: IT Support & Web Developer
Castle Sales, IT & Procurement are looking for an experienced IT Support & Web Developer to join their team based on the outskirts of Scarborough. This is a new & exciting opportunity to join a successful & established manufacturing business. The role is office based & would suit a talented & ambitious web developer with relevant experience
THE REQUIREMENTS
- Responsible for the design, development & maintenance of a number of websites
- Providing 1st Line IT support & assisting the remote IT consultancy where required
- Responsible for all company websites
- Providing access to websites for content update by the marketing team
- Managing external web development resources
- Deign systems to march privacy & security requirements
- Provide 1st line support to all staff with day to day IT issues
- liaise with the IT consultancy for larger issues
The successful candidate will have
- Experience of configuring & maintaining web servers
- knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, MySQL
- A basic understanding of SEO principals
- Experience of Pen testing & corrective actions
- Graphic design interpretation & creation
- Good IT systems knowledge & an eagerness to learn
- Development of websites for e-commerce would be an advantage
