THE POSITION: Facilities Manager
Castle Employment Group are looking for experienced Facilities Manager to work for a historical local attraction based near York, North Yorkshire. The Facilities Manager will offer expert knowledge & skills in order to generate & promote a positive health & safety culture.
THE REQUIREMENTS:
- Ensuing that all safety legislation is adhered to & policies & procedures are put in place
- Responsible for the overall security arrangements of the premises
- Responsible for all departmental reportg
- Accountable for Health & Safety, Cleaning, Security, Utilities & Space Management
- Management of all Facilities staff
- Work closely with the Head of Commercial Operations to ensure the safe operations & maintenance of commercial areas
- Draw up maintenance schedules
- Ordering & checking of invoices & monitoring of budgets
The successful Facilities Manager will have:
- A recognised Health & Safety qualification such as NEBOSH
- Proven track record of successful management of teams
- Extensive experience of building maintenance work
- Mechanical & Electrical systems knowledge & experience
- Proven financial & budgetary experience in managing projects
- Experience in a residential/historic house environment would be an advantage
