Buyer (RL6297) Filey, England
Castle Employment are looking for an experienced Buyer to join a market leading manufacturing company based close to Filey, North Yorkshire. Reporting in to the Purchasing Manager you will roll out continuous improvement activities across the business. The role would suit someone from a purchasing background within manufacturing who is looking for a new challenge.
The responsibilities of the Buyer will include ;
- Placing of accurate Purchase orders
- Strong expeditor ensuring supplier delivery dates are adhered to
- Negotiate with supplier for components & goods
- Manage stock & inventory levels
- Source & liaise with suppliers
- Stock Control & Supply Chain
- Continuous improvement activities
The successful candidate will have
- Excellent negotiation & expediting experience
- Knowledge & understanding of MRP purchasing systems
- Experience of purchasing components in manufacturing business
- Experience of souring electronic components
