Materials Controller (RL7628) Scarborough, England
Castle IT, Sales & Procurement are looking for a Materials Controller for immediate start for a company based in Scarborough, North Yorkshire. Reporting in to the Purchasing Manager you will be responsible for procuring & expediting materials in accordance with business requirements
THE REQUIREMENTS:
- Ensure material is procured to meet the needs of the business to the correct specification
- Carry out material and services cost reduction through negotiation, resourcing & benchmaring
- Supplier management
- management of suppliers/goods and services
- Provide accurate delivery information to the Service teams
- Expedite delivery notes for site based deliveries
- Administration work associated with setting up new system to order service parts
THE CANDIDATE:
- Strong negotiation skills
- Experience in MRP Systems, word, excel & access
- Experienced in purchasing electrical & mechanical components within a manfufactrig or automotive type environment
- Possibly working towards a CIPS qualification
