Business Developing Manager

 

 

Castle Employment are recruiting for a Business Development Manager for a well-established provider of mental health services based in North Yorkshire.  The Business Development Manager will work to improve market position & achieve financial growth. This is a fixed term contract for 12 months

The role would suit someone with previous experience of working in a health or mental health setting or experience of working in the voluntary or private sector. You should also have strong negotiation, interpersonal & influencing skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Target decision makers within potential client organisations and set up meetings between these decision makers and relevant members of the Leadership Team
  • Work with the Director of Development and the Business Development team to develop proposals
  • Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships.
  • Attend events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and trends.
  • Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in business and revenue.
  • Work in a focused and targeted way to ensure they increase their market share, offer appropriate services to appropriate markets and have a coherent, high quality and well thought through range of ‘products’ that attract clients
  • Support the Marketing and Communications Manager to develop a large-scale marketing and promotional campaign including re-branding and a new website.
  • Develop new routes to market with live prospects
  • Establish active sales and pricing strategy to use for marketing, events and other direct promotional activity to increase interest, demand and enquiries

 

 The successful candidate will have:

  • Success in increasing the business and revenue of at least one organisation in the last two years
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
  • Senior & Extensive business development experience in a health or mental health setting with established access to a network of contacts in mental health.
  • Experience of working in the voluntary, community or private sector would be an advantage
