Quantity Surveyor (VC6248) York, England
THE POSITION:
Castle Employment are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor for well-established and well-respected organisation. Specialising in construction services across the UK the company have recently undergone exciting expansion and are now looking to recruit both junior and experienced Quantity Surveyors to join the construction team.
As Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for the commercial, contract and financial administration of project activities, delivering against cost and time frames. You will have proven experience within a Quantity Surveyor role and ideally possess a relevant academic qualification.
The role is open to someone looking to grow their career within quantity surveying or someone looking to bring their experience and knowledge to a new business. This is a busy and growing team with excellent opportunities for future progression.
THE REQUIREMENTS:
- Procurement of Subcontractors including payments and measures
- Cost management and valuations
- Build estimates and variation costings
- Accurate reporting on project development
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Experience of quantity surveying
- Good communicator, methodical and conscientious.
- Team player.
