Castle Employment are looking for experienced Stock Controllers to work with the stores team to ensure 24 hour stock control & take a lead role in stock control across the site. This is a great opportunity to join an established manufacturing business based in the Malton area. These are permanent positions, however, will include shift work. The role would suit someone with previous stock experience.
This important role of Stock Controller will encompass the following
- Complete accurate stock on computer system with daily counts
- Stock rotation, stocktaking & stock reconciliation
- Investigate stock discrepancies
- Distribute stock counts daily to all relevant employees including operations & planning
- Communicate any stock shortages
- Undertake stock rotation to ensure correct order for despatching products
- Assist in internal audits
- Complete all relevant computer input & paperwork
The successful Stock Controller will have:
- Previous relevant stock experience
- Experience of Movex would be an advantage but is not essential
- Must be competent in Excel
- Good analytical skills with a high level of numeracy
- A "can do " attitude with a possitive & flexible approach
