2nd Line Support Engineer (RL7113) Scarborough, England

 

THE POSITION: 2nd Line Support Engineer

Castle Sales, IT & Procurement are looking for an experienced  2nd Line Support Engineer  to join their team based on the outskirts of Scarborough.  You will be the first point of contact for internal employees & managed service customers assisting them with PC, netwrogn & hardware problems via phone, email or onsite visits

 

THE REQUIREMENTS:

  • To provide 1st & 2nd Line technical support & resolutions

  • Support internal users in the use of IT equipment
  • First point of contact for internal employees assisting with networking & hardware problems
  • Troubleshooting, diagnosing & resolving  problems or escalating to 3rd Line Support
  • Logging incidents & faults
  • Take ownership of user problems, perform technical diagnosis & fix issues
  • Work effectively & productively with 3rd Line Support

 

The successful candidate will have

  • Networking experience (LAN, WAN, wi fi)
  • Strong knowledge of  MS based operating systems
  • Experience troubleshooting MS Office
  • Good understanding of hardware & software set-up
  • Must be highly organised with excellent customer services skills
