Castle Employment are looking for a Web Developer for an established retail business based in the Scarborough area. Due to a period of growth this is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and experienced Web Developer to join a growing business. Based at their Head Office this is a full-time office based position.

Key Responsibilities: 

• To maintain and continue the development of the company's websites and bespoke platform
• Find and fix issues to improve site performance and customer satisfaction
• Help improve existing in-house systems and applications

Skills/Experience required:

• Relevant degree or professional qualification
• Previous experience working within an e-commerce company would be beneficial
• Skills in all or at least some of the following: HTML, CSS, jQuery, Javascript, SQL
• A good working knowledge of ColdFusion (CFML, CFScript) or related language (PHP, Python, Ruby etc)
• The ability to work confidently and effectively within an SQL database
