THE POSITION: IT Help Desk Engineer
Castle Sales, IT & Procurement are looking for an IT Helpdesk Engineer to join their team based on the outskirts of Scarborough. This is a great opportunity to join an established business. The role is office based & you will be a core member of the help desk team.
THE REQUIREMENTS
- Resolve support calls at first point of contact from the customer
- Provide technical support to clients via remote & telephone support
- Logging & updating all key information regarding the support call
- Escalate calls where necessary to 2nd/3rd Line Support
- Fully resolve the support call in a quick & efficient manner
The successful candidate will have
- A minimum of 12 months experience of working on an IT Help Desk in a similar role
- Able to demonstrate the ability to diagnose & troubleshoot IT issues
- A desire to learn & be proactive in fault finding
- Knowledge on how to configure VLANS, Firewalls, Routers
- Self motivated & a positive attitude
