Castle Sales, IT & Procurement are seeking a Graduate Software Engineer to join a manufacturing business based in North Yorkshire. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented candidate to progress their career. Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you will be working as part of the product development team that design & develop software systems. The successful candidate will be able to build high-quality, high performance, innovate software.
The key points of the role are as follows
- Develop & maintain the customer facing software & services
- Develop & maintain tools for the internal systems
- Work with firmware engineers to design & document new systems
To be successful in the role, you will have
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar, and/or relevant experience
- Proven previous experience with C and C++ would be an advantage but is not essential
- Good knowledge of rational databases & SQL
- Experience with web development
- Experience designing Apps for mobile devices
- Experience if embedded firmware designing would be an advantage
Salary £21-26k depending on experience plus additional benefits
