Property & Conveyancing Process Manager - £30,000+

My client a professional property company based North Leeds are seeking an experienced Property & Conveyancing Process Manager to join their Legal team.

To be considered for this role you will have a strong consistent experience in Conveyancing.

You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the purchase and sale process for every property bought and sold within the company. The primary role is to ensure each purchase and sale is progressed as smoothly, quickly and efficiently as possible. You will work closely with the allocated solicitors and will be responsible for dealing with customer questions, solicitor queries and notifying relevant parties about any delays in the schedule. You are expected to think outside the box and chase replies to enquiries, searches and anything else that will aid the solicitors purchase and sale of our stock. You will be able help with obtaining management packs for leasehold properties and organising lease extensions where necessary.

You will also help any clients with their legal documentation, assisting them with property information forms (PIFS) and making sure their ID is received promptly.

Duties of a Property & Conveyancing Process Manager –

• Conduct welcome calls with new business to the company
• Ensure all the necessary documentation required to progress a speedy purchase
• Open purchase and sales files
• Liaise with both clients and solicitors to ensure each party is kept up to date at all times
• Manage the progression team and oversee the progress of each property
• Identify and resolve any potential issues that may arise in quickly and effectively
• Provide the Directors with weekly update on purchases and sales at their weekly manager’s departmental meeting.
• Offer incentives (where necessary) to make sure good deals complete quicker.
• Work in tandem with our solicitors for purchase and sale
• Place properties designated for the open market for sale through AMG.
• Please properties designated for sale through auction with Auction House UK Ltd
• Arrange for auction packs to be put together.
• Try and revive files that are dead and pass back to the relevant department
• Deal with complaints promptly in line with the TPO guidelines
• Conduct monthly TPO training with the negotiators
• Keep a record of all purchase and sales files for a minimum of 2 years.
• Make sure they keep all client data safe in lines with the new GDPR legislation.
• Act in a professional manor at all times and promote the business in the best possible light.
