Excellent opportunity to join a vibrant property company in Leeds City Centre.

The successful candidate will be the main point of contact once a sale has been agreed on a property, regularly liaising between Sellers, Purchasers and their Solicitors to ensure all parties are kept up to date to encourage a smooth transaction from reservation to legal completion within the strict 28 day deadline.

The Sales Progressor will play a vital role working within a highly successful office and will take responsibility for hitting exchange and completion deadlines and managing solicitors and client’s expectations effectively to achieve the desired results.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills & the ability to keep calm under pressure, while delivering exceptional service to our customers. You will have strong and assertive communication skills and be able to convey complex details in a clear concise manner. You will liaise with other team members & clients via email & telephone so must possess a polite and friendly telephone manner as well as be confident in the use of Microsoft Outlook.

Sales Progression duties will include:

• Conduct sales progression using our CRM system milestones (Sales Wizard)
• Update and maintain CRM notes
• Exchange on a targeted number of properties per month
• Organise surveys and address any issues that arise following the surveys and valuations
• Push all sales through towards agreed deadlines for Exchange/Completion
• Proactively work to resolve any progression issues
• Issue sales memos to both buyer and seller solicitors
• Liaise with mortgage advisors to answer Lender questions
• Communicate assertively with both sellers and purchasers’ solicitors to manage deadlines
• Produce weekly progression reports for the Finance Manager
• Provide sales and constructions updates to the Client Care Co-Ordinator so they can manage client expectations
• Assist with Completions when required
• Any other duties as may reasonably be required, consistent with the grade of the post

The ideal candidate would ideally have the following skills

• Knowledge and experience of the Sales Progression process
• The ability to communicate assertively
• Have a good understanding of the Conveyancing process
• Experience of Leasehold sales preferred but not essential
• The confidence to resolve issues proactively
• Work under pressure to tight deadlines
• Ability to convey complex details in a clear and concise manner
• Have an excellent telephone manner
• Self-motivated and well organised
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of the residential sales process
• Excellent IT skills
• Be confident and articulate
